Well, Hannah's vocabulary has multiplied recently, and it is so exciting to hear her sound out and say new words. Hannah has a new word that she has learned, and it is sit. She even knows the past tense of it which is sat. Well, very unfortunately, it sounds like another word that is not suppose to be in her vocabulary, which is s**t.
The other day we were all sitting down to dinner when we noticed a fly in the house. Nick got up to get the fly swatter and was after it. After he missed the first time, the fly flew by us and Nick was waiting for it to sit still so he could kill the thing. When this fly kept flying around Hannah and I, we became so frustrated that this fly would not land. Well, Nick was sitting down by this time continuing on with his meal when Hannah finally yelled "SIT!"
You can just imagine the laughter around our house when Nick and I looked at each other (Nick was drinking coffee, which didn't fare well for him) and Hannah just looking at us like we were completely off our rockers!
The other day in the church nursery she felt like she should say this word again (Notice in both instances, she uses it in the right context.)
She and another nursery worker were in the room playing and the door to the bathroom was open. Hannah pointed to the potty and said "SIT."
That's all for now, Thank goodness...Oh, how I just love this season of our lives!

Actually, Hannah and I thought that the fly had already been killed when it zoomed by our heads. That is when she decided to shout out her new favorite word!
Classic toddler moment. Good stuff!
