I have decided to write about things that I am truly thankful for on Thursday's. It is called "Thankful Thursday's," and if you'll go over to Christian Women Online you'll see that they copied my idea! (No, I really copied their idea, but I thought that instead of writing some random blog everyday...or every other week in my case...I could at least designate one day a week to being thankful.) I am thankful everyday...and I am trying to concentrate on the things I have rather than complain about the things I don't. If you really think about it, nobody wants to be around an old sour puss anyway...right? I was watching a T. V. show this morning and it was on being positive and the influence of the words we speak. One thing that was mentioned was if you wanted a positive life, stop being negative. It's simple, but true. In Proverbs, it says "The power of life and death is in the tongue." What that means to me is that I can either build other's up or tear them down with my words, and/or what I do or do not say. That also goes for myself: I tend to believe what I say about myself...you get the picture.
God has blessed me with so much: a loving husband that is such a hard worker and good provider so I can be a stay at home mom like I've always wanted, a restored marriage and home that God has raised up to be what He designed it to be, a precious little girl who is growing in the knowledge of the Lord, a wonderful family and extended family who loves me no matter what, great friend's who love and encourage me, my health, my gifts and talents...and so much more. With all of this, I don't have an excuse to complain and gripe about my life. When you really think about it, do you?

The name of my blog is true: I do live a wonderful life!
